Finally finished my build! Waiting for the engine mount to be fabricated took the longest. Details in the video:

Nicely done, lots of attention to detail, and I know what it is like to work around extremely close tolerances of moving parts with the ones I build so I can readily appreciate the thought and effort you made on yours...Well done...Now get out and ride it and enjoy the fruits of your labour...lol.

Do you got torque arms on that front hub motor. If not, you need to add them as soon as you can.

I am only mentioning this before you ruin a front fork, Or you have a wreck.

Again. Nice Ride.
Do you think I'll need it for a steel fork and the torque washers? I am only using electric motor if the gas ever dies. Or to help me park it.

You may want to consider modifying the controller to use the motor as a generator when it isn't being used for propulsion. This way the motor/generator could put charge back into the battery when under engine power alone or when coasting.
Sounds cool, I'll look into it

If it were me. I would put at least 1 torque arm on that hub motor. I would buy the Grin brand torque arm.

On the e-bike forum you would be amazed at how often someone ruined their fork, hub motor, or wrecked cause the wheel came off the bike.

Plus being a chopper & with the steering fork rake, it would just be safe insurance to have 1 torque on it.
