Hi all, looking to get some triple tree forks with built in disc brake mounts. they come either with threaded or non threaded steering tubes. which is better and why? And where can I get one? Thanks all.

Non-threaded are easier to install and adjust and they look much better. You can even drill your top tree to fit some real motorbike risers and fit some real 7/8" or 1" bars. Threaded are only good if you want to use standard bicycle stems.

*edit*
Non-threaded triple-tree forks I bought from Bicycle Designer with some modified dirt-bike risers and 7/8" drag bars on my Schwinn chopper. You tell me which looks better, threaded forks and a bicycle stem or this. And when it gets loose from my bearings wearing in, all I have to do is loosen up the cap screw on the top tree, tighten down the cap screw on the top, then re-tighten the cap screw on the tree. Done and done. Can't take more than 2 minutes. Try THAT with a threaded stem.
