Trying to bend an MZ-65

So I got an mz65 pipe and I put the thing on my yd100 clone and I hit a bump causing the front shocks to fully compress and bang my expansion chamber off my bike, stripping the threads for my exhaust port. I'm trying to figure out some kind of way to make it work, and I'm thinking bending might be the best option, but given how thick the metal is it would be quite difficult. Does anybody have any ideas of a way to bend an expansion chamber without a welder?

Welcome to the forum!!
I just went through a whole goat rodeo cuz my MZ65 would hit my bike tire cuz it was way to far forward, and the only way to fix it was to bend it.
I'm not sure HOW you're saying you want to bend it? Pictures would definitely help.
Anyways, I just used a common propane torch, took a while to get it red hot but it worked fine. Had to bend it in 2 places to move it back and shorten it. I also did clamp it in a vise to bend it, as I didn't want to strip the bolts trying to bend it on the engine.
You may be able to fix the stripped threads by getting a 1/4-20 bottoming tap, tapping out the holes, and switching to 1/4-20 hardware. I went with studs and double nuts, because those won't loosen like the bolts that come with the kits will.

Thanks for the advice, last time I tried using a propane torch I got impatient and assumed it was impractical, when I get to my bike in a couple of days I will try this again.

It's going to take a while to get that metal hot enough to bend. Have patience.

Otherwise, there are some decent cheap little welders out there or a bit over 100 bucks. Small pie cuts and welding works well for tight corners.

For what you'll pay for torch gas and the head along with a hickey bender; you could buy a cheap welder. You'll also have to get a handle for the bender. Without the bender you risk putting kinks in the bend.

Don't use propane. Use the yellow bottle MAP gas and a high intensity torch. Get it red hot all the way around and bend it slowly to avoid kinking it. And the larger the area you heat the easier it is to bend

If you only need a very slight bend you can do that. If you need a larger bend and/or a tight radius you have to have the bender.
