Turn signals

Hiw would you do that, and what would you use for controls?
Aside from the lights, you'd need a lead-acid battery (~30 bucks from Ace Hardware; 5Ah would be more than sufficient), a flasher relay (10-15 bucks from Autozone; make sure you get one for LEDs if that's what you'll be using), and a handlebar switch (20 bucks from eBay). Easiest way to keep the battery charged is to just plug it in at home. There are kits that can allegedly charge the battery off the magneto--I have one, but I haven't gotten around to installing it yet, so I can't say anything as far as whether or not they work. The biggest advantage of doing it this way is the ease of adding other circuits, like a headlight, taillight, brake light, and horn, but if you don't plan to, it's probably easier to just get a standalone turn signal unit.

I'm using this combo switch from Amazon ..

It also lets you set up a horn and headlight on -off switch. Very well made for the price. The wires are little light for incandescent but works great with 3 watt LED COB Beads and a 10 watt LED headlamp and tail-light.
