Upright Tadpole Tricycle:

I just ran across a video on Youtube of a home made tadpole that looks fairly easy to build. The video is called upright tadpole tricycle . I am not sure how to link the video to here. Looks like this might make an interesting build. Time to start collecting some donor bikes.

You can find plans to build one in Atomic Zombies bicycle builders bonanza, its called the hammerhead, plus there is a bunch of other info on building bikes in the book and the website.
