Is it possible to use the gears of a standard bike as a gearing for a motorised bicycle.I have read many posts, but they all seem to use seperate units.

You seek The Holy Grail of the happytime world. Search for multi-gear etc.

Different Technique

I am currently building a 60cc chinese engine kit,the sprocket is mounted on the other side of the cassette,i am just wondering whether the gears wills till work from this setup.

Sure. My Skyliner is a 21 speed but I rarely change them. I've got set in 4th just to pedal through intersections and bump start the motor.

If you're asking whether the motor will drive the multi-gearing the answer is no.

I can't count the times this has been asked and have yet to see the results of anyone actually doing it. It's just assumed that they will not hold up, I guess.
