Since my bikes are only ridden on the street ive opted for less restriction and run only the stack. Ive ran the stack by itself for 3 years now and have never had a problem. But you claim more power gain with running a filter? Thats new to me please explain your reasonings if you dont mind.

It depends on the engine. I know some of the performance engines run better with air filters and mufflers, but I wouldn't think so on these small engines

Yeah thats new info to me. Ive tested with and without and without won hands down. Plus i dont even know where one buys a filter to fit over my stack. It would probly have to be a foam one like the Uni

So you've lost power from your bike after switching the engine to a new frame? It could be your clutch needs adjusted or replaced. A slipping clutch can really take down the top end.

My clutch is strong and grabs great. Back when I joined this forum I did a post about a diy no slip clutch. Stacked 2 clutch plates together with a bigger flowernut.

It allows for more tesnsion on the spring and gives you more suface weight when being pressed. The second plate also absobs some of the heat keeping the lower plate cooler. Been running it 3 or so years now

The modded clutch will need the right adjusting. It took me a bit to find it but their is a sweet spot where it grabs like a bear claw. clutch arm, flowernut, and main spring. Mine hasnt sliped a day yet even with all the added power

Its the same power maybe even a tad higher. I can hit 50 allday when it put it in a simple cranbrook. Boardtracker 2 is just twice as heavy with all the added stuff, double pipe, big tank, hothead air system. Etc. And my fat arse 225lbs. If I can get this bike in the 50 club . I know i done good
