Finished my project today and its feels odd to ride it.

Very confusing when to pedal, when to clutch etc, plus i have 5 speed bike.

How long does it take on average until person learns it?

I decided to toss that kit in the trash after riding for a hour and keep the bike, or sell all together for $250.

I, personally, didn't like the kit the way it was stock. I moddified the hell out of it and it runs extremely well. Most people just get a real bike, but I personally like being different.

Yeah i considered upgrades because out of the box kit looks like junk, really only useful thing is the engine rest is garbage.

Main problem is i live in Los Angeles and traffic here is hell, and since i have to ride this thing on side of the road and not center of lane it major bad thing.
All there's cars parked on side of the road that can have someone merge into road or open the door or car comes out of the driveway.

Many parts of the road have no adequate space to ride the bicycle on the side of the road, cars parked by the sidewalk and lane with less than feet of space from the parked cars, when coming next to this section of road and there's traffic going 40mph in same lane i get very worried.

Yep, no way you're living on that thing in LA. And they aren't CARB certified so that's another problem there. If you make enough power like I do (like, 8-10hp...) you can ride a bit safer knowing people aren't passing you going 2 times as fast. I can hit about 45 mph on a 41 tooth top speed if I really push it. Again, I'm extremely modified. Balanced crank, high compression head, Reed valve, yz85 pipe and 21mm oko carb....

I don't feel safe going anywhere more than 20 on this thing, i mean i had scooter i was going around 35mph, however on a bicycle with spokes and rim brakes and on the side of the road no way. Situation is too unpredictable in this city.

I enjoyed building it though.

Spokes aren't a hindrance. A solid front fork can be. Rim brakes are definitely too weak. My 160mm disks are still tiny...

Yeah thats another issue i feel too many vibrations, but again i could invest another $500 and lots of hours to have it super reliable and fast however it still be a bicycle that cannot even ride inside lane and so its not safe for LA.

throw a 32-36 tooth on them bikes and use all bottom end no too little vibration issues afterward
