Scottm and I visited the swap meet in Bedford, Texas this morning over at Bicycles Inc. It was a good time. We also got to meet another Motoredbikes.com member, Saberwalt. He was there with his quiet electric powered bike. There was also an old Whizzer scooting around the lot along with our bikes. It was fun to see all the old bikes. Our motored bikes got a lot of attention as well. This type of event is great for promotion.

Some pics are below, and Scott will likely post some more soon.

The lower left, the original Whizzer. Yeah baby, that's what I'm talkin' about!
Thanks for posting these pics.

Nice to get to try out a Happy Time.

Nice to meet the DFW guys. The weather was fantastic. Talked to the Whizzer driver about local politics and he has been riding that thing for years with no official problems. The weather was beautiful. I left my house just before 8, it was 60 degrees so I had long pants and a light jacket and it took about 20 minutes to Ebike over there as I live on the other side of the freeway. By nine I was peeling layers off as it was 75 and climbing That old stuff brings back memories from child hood for sure.

Got a chance to ride Scott's Happy Time. Sure is fun. Gotta get something to ride that can keep up with these two.... Gotta get some MBC stickers

It was great to hook up with Johnny again and meet Walt at the swap meet. I get a kick out of the fact that we would most likely never had met if it were not for MBc. All the old bikes and not enough money, you eyes always looking to see how a motor would look and fit on any particular bike. There was one women's Sears Spaceliner in bad shape but it was cool to see one in person.

Sorry I forgot to post pics in my last post. It's fun loading the bike(s) on the car and when you sit at a stop light, watch all the people behind you study the bikes. One you will see Jonnny on Jet enlightening the crowd on the wonders of Motoredbikes and fielding their questions. He is a great representative. That's walt on the right in the red jacket. I love putting faces with names.
I never knew Firestone made a bike.
I am easily distracted and more so easily amused, so I had to take one picture for Spunout and also saw this quick release TP holder in the mens room.:D
The wizzer (not associated with the TP holder) was a sight and sound to behold, a real treat.
Many thanks to Johnny for the loan of his extra CDI and new spark plug wire. He got Mr. Toad to spring back to life and we got to swap and MBc high 5. I got walt to ride my motored bike so I could get him addicted it to.:D
MBc guys and gals are great people sharing parts and ideas and laughs.

I LOVE seeing photo's from these bike shows. There were 3 in Kansas City this summer but I missed them all. I won't make that mistake next year!

Looks like a ghood time. I too, find myself looking at each of the bikes with an eye toward how a frame mount engine would fit, and I don't even own a CHT.
