Vintage Whizzer taillight

Is my Whizzer supposed to have a tail light? If so whats it look like. My Whizzer is a 1947.

That thing is nice!!! If it doesn't have a generator I'm guessing it wouldn't have a taillight. I have a restored 49 J that I got from Quenton.

Your bike has a battery-powered tail light slung beneath the rear carry rack. This style of tail light also has an ingenious brake light feature built into it. There is a free-rolling ball bearing in that light. When you apply the brakes the bearing rolls forward into a recess and completes the circuit, lighting your brake light. When you start moving again it rolls out and breaks the circuit, causing your brake light to go out. Neat, eh?
