I received a used Tanaka pf4000.Looks like not the greatest of care was taken in gas mixing, lots of gummy burnt oil on inspection of sparkplug hole threads, inside of engine.Since I'm going to have to take off the intake, should I (would you) pour some gas in there and try to wash out the excess?Be kind, the only 2-strokes I know anything about are the old Cox reed-valve engines for RC aircraft, and they need washing/scouring quite often.
