Weather affecting engine performance?

It is this one. Yeah I was fooling around and took the cap off the muffler to see how that affected it and when i went to put it back on a couple days later... well its gone. So I need to fix my exhaust. I still haven't tinkered with it yet. Been putting in overtime at work. I'll to get to it today.

Dan it is oily and shiny black. I know now that it is running too rich. Thanknyou everyone for your input.

Yeah a new spark plug took care of it. It runs fine again. Carb jets are on order!

Cool! It's unusual for a plug to go bad, it's only happened to me once, still, it sounds like you should jet down a little and see how it is. Those jets will fit that carb, which is a Dellorto clone. Be careful when you remove the bowl to replace the jet, there is a thin rubber gasket that has to fit in the slot just right.
