Weed eater chain drive help needed.

Has anybody ever made a chain driven bike using a weed wacker engine mounted over the back wheel? If anybody has can they give me some info on how they did it?

we did a chain drive with a 36cc chainsaw engine last year. chainsaws are much sturdier engines than weed eaters.

Yea I would like to use a chainsaw but all I have right now is a vertical shaft lawn mower and a 31cc weed wacker so I have to make do with what I have.
I am just learning to weld so I welded a sprocket right on the bike wheel but that didnt work out to well so I am going to have to try something diferent.

Would it be possible to put a clutch on it and make it belt driven?

that would prolly be your best bet unless you can weld a sprocket straight on the hub!
