Mounting that motor is a little involved to mount, you'll have to build a cradle for it to sit in, then position the cradle so the chain lines up with the sprocket.
 
That engine is not electric start,and because of the pull start and gear reduction case will not allow the pedals to clear with out going with a very wide crank set.

I have the exact same motor in the shed, it's electric start. That pull cord is a back up, then right behind it is the starter motor. In his second pic you can see a nut on the side of it for the ground wire and the live feed to the switch.

That's the stator side,and the power tap for lighting or accessories I have lots of those engines.
 
You're right! I just went and looked at one and it's a separate armature with one way bearings,I thought that was just a gen coil because they normally do the electric start on the clutch side.
When I jumped the one I have, it jumped off my bench, I didn't think it would turn over that fast.
