What are the Final Parts I Need?

    Okay so,

    I have the bike
    front and rear disc brakes
    26x3 wide tires
    One piece crank

    I have the engine kit

And I'm about to order the shift kit
    Downtube width 1 3/8 in to 1 1/2 in
    Seatpost diameter 1.125 in

Aside from upgrades, what necessities do I need? Do I need a bottom bracket adapter and if so, which conversion kit or combination of parts do I need to get?

This is my first build and the bottom bracket has me a little confused. Will either of these conversion kits work?

You will need new pedals with the wider thread for three piece cranks. I suggest Nuke Proof Electron Evo as they have two sealed cartridge bearings per pedal so virtually no maintenance ever and 2/3rds the weight (and price!) of Shimano Saint pedals (the other fully sealed option). http://nukeproof.com/latest-news/electron-evo-pedal/

The BB supplied with the SBP shift kit is a "Euro" threaded BB so you do need the converter to "BMX" threadless. The link is NOT the correct SBP product as it says in the product description you do not need the bearings and they have an option with only the adapter. http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=104

The down tube clamp diameter seems slim for an alloy frame. I would check that is correct. I expect kcvale will be along shortly. :)

The Shimano TZ-21 freewheel cassette is quite a close ratio (14-28). To have a wider range for more versatility and to avoid changing up two gears at a time you might want to swap it for a wider range one like a Shimano Tourney. They even have a megarange 14-34 :D https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-MF-TZ31-Tourney-Freewheel-14-34T/dp/B003RLNOKC

I'm still a little confused as to what I NEED to buy.. After I buy the shift kit, to mount it properly and have the bike run I need what? I'll need this and something to convert it to BMX threadless?

"this" is the adapter which converts your frame's BMX threadless BB shell to fit the shift kit's threaded Euro BB cartridge.
Once you get the new cranks on, you will need pedals with a 9/16" thread. The ones on the Fito Modena bike's one piece crank are 1/2" so will not fit.

I would buy an extra long seatpost to reinforce the seat tube, that way you should not be able crush it when you tighten the shift kit mounts. It may well be overkill but you can't repair a crushed tube.

Could you explain this a little more to me? If I'm not mistaken, the website's instructions say that I need bearings to convert my 1 piece into a 3 piece. Every time I read the instructions for a part or kit it suggests that I'm in need of another part.. I need a break from this bottom bracket confusion, one more question and I'm out for the night.

These are the kits/products that websites and instructions have been pointing me to all day. Which of these would work with my bike and kit and which should I be getting?
    Bottom Bracket Adapters: http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=104
    Bottom Bracket Conversion Kit: http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=56
Bottom Bracket Conversion Kit 2: http://www.gasbike.net/products/bottom-bracket-conversion-kit
    Pedal Kit: http://www.gasbike.net/products/kmb-pedal-kit-bottom-bracket-conversion-kit

I'm not sure if the pedal kit is specifically for the KMB frame or if it fits others, I can't seem to find much info on products from GasBike. Also, I'm pretty sure I don't need one but what about cartridges? Some places I'm reading say I need one, others say I don't, others say it's optional...

The SBP shift kit comes with a pair of crank arms and a BB cartridge fitted with the correct extra long axle (the crank arms must clear the sides of the the four stroke engine).
All you need to do is fit the threaded cartridge BB into your frame's large unthreaded BB shell. Your first link in the last reply is the SBP BB adapter and it is perfect for you! :)
    You don't need any bearings.
