What do i need for the avenger 85

Ok just purchased the avenger 85 what do I need straight from the jump I know I probably need at least a better spark plug from what I heard

I've had very good luck so far without making any modifications yet to my Avenger 85 set up. That said, I took off the jug and head and cleaned everything up before carefully reassembling it. There's almost always a bunch of milling residue in the motor even if it looks relatively clean out of the box. Other people might disagree, but you could just use the spark plug that came with the kit until you break in the motor. Mine runs like a champ with the included spark plug, and I'll switch to an NGK once I've got a few hundred miles on it. It's already such an amazing beast compared to the other motors I've owned and modified heavily. It's honestly the best motor I've owned especially for the price. That said, a CNC head is probably the next best modification I'm going to add and then an MZ65 pipe for an additional power boost.

Where did u get yours from? How many miles u got on it?

I just bought an avenger 85 from someone who hasn’t started it in a while. It looked like I was going only about 20 mph is that right? I wouldn’t know tbh. But I’m gonna put expansion chamber on it and upgrade the spark plug.

If it only went 20, you might want to get a gasket set prior. Pull that cylinder and check the rings etc. Mine went near 40 out of the box. Carb slide adj? The cylinder has room for more power as well as adding the pipe

You can easily see the rings and cylinder top portion with the exhaust removed. Did to the size of this port and SP removed
