Break In What fuel ratio should I use?

It all depends on what engine. Most cheaper engines however, 20:1 full conventional oil for brake in, and 32:1 after is a good rule of thumb
I run 32:1 from start to finish never had a problem and I have a motor that has lasted 8 years an still going and yes I run my motors full out when i ride em I do tune them by rejettin carbs an good quality plug. Happy trails yall...

I am happy for you that you have had no problems...Many others on the forums have burned up their motors following such advice, It may well be that alot of these common run of the mill China Girl motors we have been getting post "plandemic" have been even more inferior in their manufacturing than previously was the case.

We as a forum stand behind a proper breakin amount of oil between 20:1 to 25:1 using 2 cycle conventional oil and than proceed to 32:1 ratio using full synthetic thereafter on regular, run of the mill China Girls.
There is zero good reasons to chintz out on a proper amount of oil for decent lubrication and cooling of these air cooled motors...The oil is the life blood of these motors.

If you are running Phantom 85, Zeda 85, or Avenger engines, it is a whole different ball game as they are a chainsaw cylinder hybrid design engine requiring more oil than the average China Girl, but then again these are 50+ MPH engines right out of the box.

Their ratios are 20:1 ratio and manufacturer recommendation of using Valvoline 2 cycle multi-purpose conventional oil only for the first 310 miles, after the breakin you can then change to full synthetic 2 cycle oil if you wish at no less oil than 25:1.

I have two Phantom 85s myself and have zero motor or lubrication or coolong problems with my engines with thousands of miles on the first one and hundreds on the newer one.

I understand your concern and yes its up to all of you as to what you do or don't do with your motors however I have been working on these 2 strokes for over 20 years now and yes 32:1 with premium gas along with redline synthetic oil I have the 66/80 cc along with the Zelda 100cc motor. After you run any of these little motors the headnuts need torqued with inch lb torque wrench... this is something this site never tells you to do. All of my motors run top end an I'd put them up against and of the same 2 strokes of same type an quality you have to know how to turn wrenches before unboxing one of these motors most dont, most think all you have to do is unbox an install well it dont work that way with these little china girls they need alittle Tewksbury to keep em going. Take some sound advice or listen to the fine people on this site. Blow your motor up I dont care, I just know I know what I'm doing an it is how it is. Happy trails 👣

WRONG...Run my name in the search section with the term 144 inch pounds and you will find I have been preaching this for quite a few years now...You will see many pages of "hits" on this so please don't tell me that no one ever says anything about these things...I am not the only one either, many of the guys also star in the chorus of singing this out loud and clear.

I was also an ASE certified master tech/mechanic for 22 years back in New Hampshire before my 2nd retirement and I am now in New Mexico...No more snow shoveling for me in my old age.

I have a personal little motorised bike motto I have used many times when confronted with the guy that thinks that what you just wrote is all thats required with these quircky little beasties of ours...lol...lol.

"It is one thing to just strap a motor on a bicycle and expect it to work, It is quite another thing to carefully, methodically and mathematically, (whilst keeping the laws of physics in mind), to build a motorised bicycle that actually DOES work"...DAMIEN

A little bit of prayer doesn't hurt either...lol.

Here is a pic of my bike built with that motto in mind whilst I was building it...lol...lol.

This is why I dont get on here I've been with this forum since 2016 and everyone is a master tech and wants to argue about something or another 🙄 not interested in any of it I'm 65 yrs old retired master machinist you keep doing what you are good job and fyi, if you know everything you sure wouldn't be on here asking how to do things. I was on here to give advise but people like you already know the deal but yet ask the most questions lmao you have a good day

I'm almost 70 years old myself and I think you have jumped to a wrong conclusion imputed wrong motives on my behalf in having a conversation with you here.

When next you want to give advice, which is quite fine, at least try to give advice that has a newbie in mind...We do not condone using less oil than what has already been specified by manufacturers, myself, or others here in the forums.

Some of us have been building the bikes for many years now...Don't sell us short here...lol.
