I'd asumas it's some kinda mount but what exactly is it ment for

I think I cut it in half and used it for muffler supports.
If it isn't a fuel tank mount strap, then it might even be intended for that.

Muffler supports are essential!

got a whole bunch o' those here - never found a specific place for them as a kit part, but are sometimes a handy way to hang something on frame

If is pretty thin and if you can bend it around the muffler, could it be used as a muffle hanger strap?

I'm almost certain its for the chain gaurd. Supposed totgo around the stay and bolt onto the rear hole to hold it in place, however it rarely actually fits like that. The exhaust bracket is a pretty big thing with two full circles when screwed together that wrap around the muffler and bike frame to hold it in place, though it's so flexible I really don't think it does much. Those things work well for gas tank mounts if you have a large top tube though.
