What is you Safe MAX speed poll is great. Why not expand on that and tell what speed do you normally cruise along at. Taking in all the places I go I think I go around 15-20. My speedometer tracks it but I wouldn't trust it.

Yeah, 15-20 has been normal for me.

After reading the recent spate of near death experiences I do hope folks pay heed.

I think additional polls might prove interesting if things like age or testosterone levels were components to evaluate their factors in the MB Darwin Awards. :devilish::devilish::devilish:

20-25 seems fine to me, my lead hand does get me up to 30+ on occasions, but I'm trying to cruise more often. I actually got a 36t sprocket, but I'm not sure if I will install it. Most of my riding is in town so there is a lot of stopping, which would mean more peddling on take off and I really don't need to go faster then 25-30. I do think it would be nice for a longer trip without much stopping. Seeing it would be easier on the engine to maintain 20-25.

20-25 for me... occasionally going over 25 if I'm in a hurry or I see an smooth, wide-open road. 22~23 seems to be the hotspot on my bike. I'd be cruising at 25 minimum if I had a 26" bike, tho.

speed

i started out at 30 went to 35 to 40..then now im at 20-25.must be the age thing haha.i think i just dont like filling my 22oz tank alot.pain in the you know what!

The FG seems to want to hum right along at about 23 MPH. Much slower it lugs, much faster and it vibrates like crazy.

I roll easy at 27...30 is pushing it, and 20 is nice and easy. On a windy day, 20 is all I can do, but 25+ is my norm.
