What looks better

iam not sure here guys what one you like better the gas tank on top bar or in a back rack ? and the flat tank is 1 gal. and iam not sure of the scale is that about right in the pic of the flat tank ? i do 150 miles a week

I like the tank on the rack better, but that's just me. I think it fits the contour of the bike better there. I think what it really boils down to is what YOU think looks/works the best? I would think either way would function just fine.

you use the utility of the rack if the tank is there (but you probably already considered that).

my 2 cents- if you paint the tank to match the bike- with the off white and red it would look great up front, otherwise I like it just fine on the back. Are you going to use the back tank with a rack on the top? So that you don't loose the use of the rack?

if you could find a gas tank that would fit underneath the top bar, and on top of those smaller bars, that would be perfect.

I like discreet gas tanks, so I think on the back is best.

If you get that particular rack tank, you can still use paniers or trunks, since the tank actually goes under the rack.
