What replacement spark plugs do you use? (chinese 2-stroke)

I use CJ8Y projected nose. Equal to NGK7 and has no piston contact on two of my stock slant heads. Stopped a bit of odd pinging I had, mostly out of the fact it bring combustion more center in the chamber and not nearly nestled in its own cavity.

NGK7 is a bit... deficient.

you mean the BMP(R)7Hs

B is thread diameter. M is a stumpy version. P is projected electrode. R is resistor type. H is length of thread.


yep. the CJ8's are good plugs or they wouldnt be installed in nearly every chainsaw, brushcutter or lawnmower worldwide.

the only issue i have had with using the stumpy plugs is when it rains, the ceramic gets wet and starts arcing out. but some frames you NEED to use them.
