Hey I'm j I have a 66cc I've had for a couple weeks. First couple miles I got it though the exhaust fell off I got interested so I took off the head. When I was driving it the piston rings started to break and I heard a little grinding twice at high Rpm so I stopped. Do u think I just should replace the rings and get proper tightening? Or because I over tightened it before the whole jug is off? I'm all stock where do I buy piston rings in the states

Well, it's hard to say just what caused it. But with broken rings...yup....your cylinder is toast.

Sorry 'bout that.

There're vendors on this page. The ads to the left and right. Start clicking on them and you'll find a source for parts. Best of luck.

yeah you need to buy the whole top end except for the head (cylinder, piston, rings)
buy another top conrod bearing while you are at it because the original one fails too quick.
