Fuel Mixture What to do with old 2 stroke gas / oil mixture?

I just took 2 gallons of gas out of my yard tractor yesterday. My tractor has been sitting in my unheated shed ever since November of 2011.
I took this 2 gallons of gas, added 2 stroke oil to it, and filled up the tank on my bike last night.
It runs like a champ...nothing wrong with gas that has been sitting for only a few months.
