What's the chance of getting a bad 66 cc china girl engines

I bought 3 of them for back ups for hard times but I'm worried if they will work
It's a crap shoot, thats why I deal with bicycle-engines.com and buy only Zeda engines, (the P-85 that some of us have are actually made by Zeda)...They cover their entire kits for six months if anything goes wrong and stand behind their warranties.

I bought 10 at one time and only one of those I had issues with, still ran fine after I corrected a couple things.

I guess you'd have to be unlucky to get one that didn't run at all.

I like to gamble lol. But I like to win I got 3 kits for 320 bucks shiped it's all allenhead bolts and the engine to bike frame are 8 mm

I actually just had a bad engine, when I got it and looked it over it looked good, when I went to put the cylinder on it wouldn't go on without a struggle, felt like the studs were bent but when I checked them they were straight. Once together and on the bike I got it running and the vibration was so bad I couldn't get over 15MPH. I believe the engine case half's were not matching (just off a tad) and the crank was not aligned properly causing the vibration issue. I also use Bicycle-Engines and called them and Molly helped me out. I had to send the motor back for there inspection and within a week had another engine on the way. Best part is I purchased the engine back in May and was working on the build and I was just about at the 6 month period and true to there word the covered it no problems.

Precisely the point why I use them too...They have the best warranty proceedures among all the vendors out there with very little fuss about it.

Yes, you will pay more than what you pay for those real El Cheapo Grande motors from E-Bay, but it more than pays for itself in the long run as they will keep setting the clock back on warranty replacement parts or whole engines.

When my warranty replacement P-85 motor arrived, Molly specifically told me that the warranty on the new motor would start all over again for a full six months on it...What more can you ask???...lol.

I'm one for 2. I got mine on eBay. The first engine was cracked, so the seller replaced it no problem. The second one works great. If I bought 3 I would want to test them all before it's too late.

The nice thing about these motors is if you get a bad one, you can usually harvest a $100 of new parts from them. I'm 1 for 2 as well, one Zeda runs great, the last one I bought shakes like a lawnmower with a bent crank shaft😵. They told me if there are broken parts they would replace them, so technically the crank is not "broken".
