Hey everyone,

Now I'm not sure if this was because of the wheel being 4 years old and heavily used or what, but my wheel bearing literally came out of place causing a wobble. And sseemingly rendering the wheel dangerous.

Did anyone have a problem with their wheel bearing? I have yet to start the engine for the first time. This problem occured while pedaling.

Setting the bearings on a bike wheel is fairly easy. You may need two cone wrenches that are the correct size.

probably just needed adjusting before the sprocket was put on - I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again

Take it all apart and degrease/clean. Check for pitting/wear/ damage to all areas and inside the hub. Replace new bearings if no other wear/ damage is seen. Re-grease and assemble. Sounds easy and it can be... A better idea would be to get a new heavy duty, high quality wheel. A repaired heavily used 4 year old wheel is not something I'd want my ass on when I'm doing 60k.
