Yes, honor is an American spelling.

I blame it all on the Irish order of nuns in Catholic school...The Sisters of Mercy from Ireland, They spell everything the Brit way and thats how I was taught...lol...Plus my grandparents on my moms side of the family were also from Ireland...lol...That's my story and I'm sticking to it...lol...Especially so because it's true...lol.

I couldn't tell you lol. I am absolutely horrible at spelling (my English teacher actually confronted me about my spelling lol. He said it's oddly inconsistent. I can spell correctly sometimes, and when I butcher it it is never the same spelling lol)
