Hello all, I'm new to the forums. I have an 80cc motorized bicycle with the engine labeled "FH80" and a picture of horse with wings next to it. It has a one piece cylinder. Basically I got one of those two piece Amazon pipes with the springs and the brace didn't line up. I was too lazy to cut and weld so I made the mistake of running no brace. The pipe shook profusely, profusely enough to pull the exhaust bolts as well as the aluminum threads out of the cylinder. I could drill and tap and all that, but it's starting to behave like it's losing compression. The piston did look pretty sad last time I had the cylinder off. Anybody know where to find a new cylinder for one of these? Or if a two piece will fit? Thanks.

You have the 66/80, (66cc), Flying Horse motor, hence the pic of the winged horse Pegasus and the FH-80 on your connecting rod
It is a motor I really would not pour any more money into.

Bikeberry markets or used to market the Flying Horse as a low end, entry level motor but I have not seen one that was a one piece cylinder, the few I have seen in person has a separate head on them.

In my personal opinion, it is one of the original throw away motors in this little hobby/sport of ours, better to put money aside and get a new motor for yourself that you will get alot more out of as regards take off torque power, more rapid acceleration, higher top end, etc, etc, etc.

Just buy a cylinder off Amazon. If you get a two piece one, you'll need studs to go into the case and nuts to go with them. Measure the bolt diameter before you buy.

I'm gotta save you a s**tload of time and bs. Just get longer exhaust bolts OR stud with lock washer AND washer. The factory bolt are always super short and I bet there alot of thread left in those holes. LONGER BOLTS STACK WASHER HARDENED LOCK WASHER BLUE LOCTITE and your done. This has happened a million time to me. NEVER USE FACTORY BOLTS AGAIN. Just head to home depot and grab the longer bolts. No need to do any of that and torque carefully. Problem solved TODAY
