Which mods is the best for a Phantom 85

I'm no guru at this phantom but I have been through a few and am still worki.g to keep her going. But I found out through trial.and error and some real mess ups that the carb on these engines is everything. The one that the Phantom comes with uses a reed valve, and is very efficient. But on the other hand, I believe it's what holds the phantom to fail. I've been doing a lot of research on how the carburetor works. It's simple but complex in it's own right. Without proper jetting and cooling the carburetor just builds too much power for the little gal to take. If you want to maximize power you'd have to chop the top, throw a light free air flowing head for cooling and get rid of the reed valve and carburetor and switch to a larger moped style carberator which in turn makes more horse power. But that is with the head change and a squish gap band, also the jetting which, im still clueless about. But as far as the phantom is concerned other than the v3s that are left...the are no longer. It will no longer be produced. Ztmoto the manufacturer of phantom has changed the name. It is now known as the Menace or what California motorbikes calls the Malice because Menace is Smolik's name..not the most popular person or company I should say amongst the group here. It's a 21mm Delloro clone carb, cnc head , cnc intake, no reed. You are lucky if you recieve a good phantom with no issues. But the engine if you treat it right will be more than enough for your bicycle without modification. Heard there will be no v4.

Where in hell are you getting your information from???
The Phantom has NOT been discontinued and is still being produced...California Motor Bikes was forced to STOP calling theirs a Phantom because the trademark holders and owners of the Phantom name and its logos, design's, copyrights etc. served Zane a cease and desist order for copyright and trademark infringement and misappropriation of the Phantom name...THAT is the reason for CMB changing the name of their Malice and why Smolik calls his a Menace.

This was reported here in the forums already right when it was happening

In future, please be sure of your information so false information is not spread around here like it is gospel truth...lol.

This is the only place in the USA, (URL Link below), that has the Genuine Phantom made to their specs that are sold here in the USA as the exclusive owner and distributor of the Phantom 85.

Ps...They also have some sort of partnership with Alex at motoredlife.com but I do not recommend buying from him at all when it is still gonna be shipped directly from B-E.com

Ok my fault but besides that the point I'm making with the carb is accurate. I have the Menace and the carb made all the difference I asked why and a guy had told me that so my fault. I never looked into it to far past the conversation.

So I wanted to buy a Phantom 85 Kit and I wondered which parts should I get for the best performance upgrade I just want the Maximum top speed that I can get from a Phantom 85 kit. Like a carb, exhaust or air filter
I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread, but I was wondering if I were to upgrade my carburetor to.. lets say a Nibbi 19mm carburetor, would I need to upgrade to a windowed piston or transfer ports or would I just be able to run it with the stock piston? any help is greatly appreciated..
