OK lets try this again Your not talking about the mounting brace
Then what have you been calling the LUG?

the text says to attach the lug on the air filter base to a clamp on the cantilever tube. I don't have any clamp there and don't have a pic of it or a part #.

Since that is a small piece that gets held on by the hose clamp You should be able to make one easily.

Once I studied that parts pic and realized it was just a folded perforated strap, you're right, that's easy to
make do with something like shrink tube covered plumber's tape. thanks for the replies.
