I have a 1998 WC-1 classic, with NE5 engine upgrade. I want to replace the stock 25 watt headlight with a 55 watt Halogen unit. There is no battery in the circuit (I removed it), and the only lights that are connected are the headlight and taillight. Will I damage the alternator if I increase the wattage of the headlight to 55? I sure don't want to burn out the alternator. Advice from any electrical experts would be appreciated. Thanks. Squeakit
