For your viewing pleasure, pics Attached.
I think I see a cast iron Westman NE-5 cyl (y)
Ya better check the Piston Ring End Gap (PREG) before installing PREG .012" - .015"
A high lift NE-5 cam and lifters is part of a NE-5 top end upgrade, to take full advantage of the extra HP offered
More HP = your happy

Q can probably get ya whatcha need or you can get it here www.whizzercruzzerparts.com

Justice, you mentioned that you go your "Cylinder kit" from Quenton at the 2023 Portland event? I was there and spent a few minutes at Q's booth. I did not know he sold Westman cast iron cylinders do to the shortage of them. When I bought mine (from another source) I sent the cylinder and the bottom end to Q and he installed the cylinder along with setting the values etc and he broke the engine in for me. All I had to do was reinstall the engine and the carburetor and I was good to go.

You also mentioned that you met Whizzer Paul there.. but Paul was not at the last 2023 event in Portland last June due to his illness. Perhaps it was 2022?

Hi @Risk Man It was definitely 2023. I was there on the last day and everyone was leaving, but Q was still there and he was the first person I ran into. He mentioned Paul was sick and not there. However, I got Paul's contact info and found out that Paul lives only 50 minutes from my home. After he recovered, we hooked up just 2 weeks ago. He is doing okay. He sold me the head, bolts, carburetor, clutch cable, air filter, a hose, etc. Maybe I can send this to Q too, was worried about cost of shipping but might consider it.

Ok.. that all makes sense. I had been closely in touch with Paul the past 3 months as well. Glad he is doing much better. Was the cylinder from Q finished with the valves installed (Seated, ground etc)? Those Westman cast iron cylinders were not finished by Westman... Q and other machine shops have to finish the bore, valve grinding etc. I had sent Q the raw head and my bottom end and he finished it. Wrench has the lowdown on that process. He has had his local machinist do this and then Wrench does his magic of putting it all together and making it run like a topp!

Thank you I think I'm on step 21 now.
Tip: Head Bolts

Your Head has two 10mm bolt holes But the Westman Cyl is 8mm , So use Shoulder Bolts
Your Ambassador (Cruzzer) Head is still stock so use 16mm shoulder bolts
If you make your head high compression and shave .100" but not past .135" off Then use 14mm shoulder bolts

Is that head for dual spark plugs?
The extra hole is for a push button Compression Release, because the Ambassador had a Starter and no pedals
A duel coil was also offered for two S/P for those who wanted to waist money :ROFLMAO:
Plugging the rear hole with a bolt is the best option for a Whizzer with a thumb operated compression release in the valve cover
