Somebody wanted an up-date on the Sportsman i was restoring so here's a couple of pictures. Its for sale if your interested, but e-mail me direct. Starts and runs great, and converted to flywheel ignition with a 12 volt battery system for the lights instead of the 6 volt that was an option at the time. Its a 1951 model which had the battery mount welded to the frame.

Sportsman

The bike has the original seat pan reupholstered by "Heathers Leathers". All the painting and stripes were done by myself. Chrome work is by "Courtesy Metal Polishing". I rebuilt the engine myself. Cylinder is honed out to only .010 oversize with a new piston and rings. Valves lapped in. This engine is a 600s series and has the German roller crankshaft and rod.
Yes, it is for sale.
