To expand on my comment a little: A month or so ago, I went to
www.whizzermotorbike.com, and there was a set of parts (a complete gas tank assembly -- not cheap!) that I was interested in purchasing. Because of the "here today-gone tomorrow" nature of many MB-related businesses, I didn't dare just put in my order through their Online Catalog section.
I emailed them at their contact address,
whizzer40@whizzerusa.com, and asked if the parts were in stock and ready to ship. After a week had passed, I re-sent the email (noting that it was my second request). Now, about a month later...nothing. I wonder what would have happened if I just put the parts order in the online shopping cart, and filled in my shipping and credit card information.
Some would say, "Why didn't you phone them?" My response would be that if they're ignoring multiple emails from ready-to-buy customers at the email address that they list in their "Contact" section, I don't want anything to do with them. I have zero confidence that I'd receive my order.
By the way, I assume that jroyse is dealing with the same Whizzer entity that I'm talking about because the phone number listed on whizzermotorbike.com is located in Texas (Dallas area).
Please keep us posted on your order, jroyse. Thanks.
