Whizzer wont start

HI everyone I deeply apologize for how late the reply's are, Firstly, It has good compression, I can hear it, and I don't believe the valve seats are bad because the last time I ran it, it ran just fine, the whole problem started when my dad tried to changed the tire tube for me, I was at working at that time so I have no idea what he did. And if the problem is really only the clutch spring, then that would be a big headache saved, I am not very experienced with engines. and Yes it is a 1999 WC-1.

If the offer is still open I am absolutely willing to learn, all I want is to get this running again
I bet between mason man, wrench, & risk man, they will get you up & running. I wont lie, I'm along for the ride to learn a thing or 2. Maybe even get a Whizzer built over time or along the way.

Sounds good @Vuit, I've got 2 projects to finish up with, then I'll send you the top end. You can PM your address when you're able to. Looking forward to seeing your new 99 wc-1.

I spent some time with @Vuit's cylinder, will need to recut the valves and seats.

Hello Ray,
I have a question bout the this head. Why did you plug the back hole vs. The front? I did the opposite because the plug is normally over the valves.
Just curious if I made a mistake.
Hello G-Whizz. On my Westman Cylinder, there was a clearance issue for the plug in the hole over the valves, but I was able to get the plug in the back with some fudging. I was also told that the plug depth is different front to back and you have to have it at the proper height in either hole to keep the engine cooler.

Yeah, I use the front hole too. It's easier to remove the S/P. I also like the S/P over the piston
The front hole is not as deep as the rear hole so I use a 10mm x 2mm aluminum washer
Ya don't want any carbon build up on any threads that might be sticking out into the combustion chamber
Carbon buildup on one or two threads will eventually strip out the threads in the head

Stock without a washer, It's only in finger tight so when tightening it all the way a couple threads will be showing

With 10mm x 2mm aluminum washer, no threads will be showing PERFECT

Well it's been at least a 4 weeks @Vuit has had the new top end. Hopefully he'll post soon.
A little more work done with the Blue Sportsman, put in a new 20 over piston, re-did valves, head clean up nice. New crank bearing and seal, almost there.
