Why do people insist on passing me?

I am going 40 in a 40 lane yet people like to pass me at 60 wtf?

I throw rocks at them, I carry a lightsaber for protection so I don't have much to worry about.

I would ride in a bike lane but they are not everywhere sadly.

I've had many cars unsafely pass me, mirror within a foot of my handlebars in 25mph zones with single lanes and double yellow lines with no bike lanes. Almost feels like they are trying to force me off the road into the gravel...

I don't ride in bike lanes anymore. It doesn't seem right to me with engine power. - And yes - some people do feel the need to pass you even though you are proceeding at the legal limit. - Just human nature I guess. - - Why should that guy on that bike having so much fun be in front of me!!!???

all-in-all, I'd say it's lucky when you get passed - often obstacles to the flow of traffic get run into

If I can't keep up with the flow of traffic I would find another route to travel on.

I think often they just think of us as something they need to pay more attention to when we are in front of them. Once were behind them their path is more predictable.
