Thanks for the help, I was looking for some full suspension bikes but can't seem to find any wide enough out there. unless there was a way to mount the engine upside down under the bottom tube.

You don't want full suspension in that price range because it takes away from the money being spent on the other much more essential components.
Even the suspension fork on that bike is not doing it any real favours IMO. It would be better to have a simple rigid fork, with a good quality headset, better quality V brakes, etc.

Look for some old GT full suspension frames like the GT LTS 5000 if you can find one.

I just removed the screws on some of mine. That frame should work great. All take a bit of work, a bit of filing and fitting. You can file the engine case to the right angle and diameter for the tubes. A big half round coarse file is your friend.
