Will It Fit?

A friend of mine is getting the motorized bike fever (I seem to be a carrier ) and would like to find out if it would be possible to fit a frame mounted motor on this bike. It has 16" wheels.

If a frame kit won't work, are there any other options? (The first one to post "Buy a new bike" will be flogged with a rubber chicken. )

Friction drive would be your best bet. Happy Time there just isn't enough room.
It's definitely a nice looking bike but with the 16 inch wheels...
Have you given some thought maybe on swapping it for a 20 inch old school bike? Then you can build a bike that looks like this:http://www.spookytoothcycles.com/in...Motorized-Bicycle/Detailed-product-flyer.html

Also the rear sprocket will be a pain with the number of spokes. The sprocket may be possible. I have 68 spokes. It took me 4 hrs. Very hard getting fingers and wrenches in between. His spokes look even tighter than mine. Very cool bike he has.
