Since BMP offers only 2 steel rollers sizes, I wonder if you can fit Staton rollers on BMP drive without any mods?

How about DE rollers?

I have installed 1.375" and 1.5" Staton rollers onto a BMP housing.

You must use Staton clutch drum, drum spacer, motor mount bolts, friction roller and two bearings with .625" ID and 1.375" bearings OD. You can place the outboard bearing with the circlip inside the friction housing. Then you'll be able to install everything with no modifications.

I chose to reverse the outboard bearing, with circlip outside the friction housing. This way, the roller has more bearing support.

To make it much easier to R&R Staton rollers into any drive housings, a few seconds of sanding the rollers' ends wil convert the spindles from press-fit to slip-fit. This saves countless hours of delay to pay a machinist $85 to press the friction roller out of the housing...EVERY TIME you change rollers or bearings.

However, I had to install a metal strap as a retainer, to keep the bearing from falling out at 35mph.
