Will stock 49cc mount to this Stingray?

Found a Stingray in good shape on Craigslist, wondering if a stock 49cc kit will work on it. Would look pretty cool if so.

It's been done before, looks like the hardest part would be clearance for the carb. May need to get one of those offset intakes, with the added bonus of getting more low end torque from the added length.

Purple Haze is right if you have a 1960s or 1970s stingray. If you have the newer Chopper style OCC stingray, you can get a chopper engine mounting plate from a bike engine vendor or ebay.
When I was in the Marines, we had a Capt Hayes for an instructor. He lost his temper so often that we called him Purple Haze (when he wasn't around).
