Will This Combination Work?

Hey whats up everyone... Im new here and to this hobby so forgive me for being Naive. I have a link here for a 80cc motor:

That I would like to attach to a bicycle with with either 3,5,7 gears. Can this work or whats the best way about to obtaining or building one under $350 that has 80cc's? I would like one with a decent top speed.

I have tried to search related links and forums for this specific information. I'm sure I probably over looked it. So if anyone can give me some of your wisdom that would be awesome. Thanks

there is a large vendor area right here on site -- good place to start
from what I hear a true 80cc is hard to find

get one and then have fun as you ride that MB thing

You're on the right track. the motor that you're considering will fit on most any adult-sized bicycle. Full diamond frame types, anyway. there are a few exceptions. The vendor links and this forum will be able to get you through that.

There's no substitute for reading, reading and more reading. It'll be well worth your time.

And though you didn't ask for this, I'll give my advice on top speed; keep it down.
I might be in a minority on this, but I think that high speeds are not wise. Averaging,
say, 30 mph is just asking for trouble on even the best bicycles.

Though I definitely want you to join us, I'd say that if you want to keep up with auto traffic then you'd be better off with a real moped/scooter or motorcycle.
