I totally ruined my throttle cable after the ball on the throttle side broke off lol... I tried and tried to solder it back on but theres no more hope... so now I have to buy a throttle cable and was wondering what local store I could pick one up at??

If theres no places local then I want to do 1 day shipping and ebay does not offer that so would this universal cable work?

to solder brake cables, throttle cables, whatever cables, with any success, you need

a blowtorch(tiny) or a BIG iron. solder and acid core flux is preffered. (do NOT USE FOR ELECTRICAL WORK!)

you have to fray the end of the cable. bend it 90 degrees about 1/8 down... but you have to cut it cleanly in the first place! with good cutters!

for tiny balls, delicacy is needed. for the main ends of cables, its best to find something you can use as a mold...a hole drilled in hardwood? it will smoke when you hold the soldering iron in it :)

silver solder is better, much stronger. but needs at least a blowtorch... prefer oxy...
