got my dax engine kit and i have a question.
i have a blue wire and a black wire coming out of my cdi unit.
i have a black wire and a green wire coming out of the engine.
i assume the 2 black wires get connected, and the blue wire gets connected to the green one, but i'm not sure. i know the white wire from the engine is an accesorry wire for lights or whatever. so is my assumption right or wrong?
thanks!

yes,
black-to-black,
blue-to-green (splice kill-switch in here), and
white is for 6v accessories, or just cap it off.

make sure to thoroughly insulate the connections from ground, and from each other, as well.

I have heard some people saying that they have the kill switch connected to the white wire, but I have the kill switch squeezed in with the blue/green wire connection. That is the way dax recommends.

awesome! thanks!!!!!
the engine is mounted, cdi is mounted, final paint is on the tank (just needs to be buffed). throttle, grips and clutch are installed as well. just need to make some good gaskets for the intake and exhaust, mount the rear sprocket, chain and idler, and we'll be off and running!!!

all that is left is to do is the wiring and and final drive chain installation. we had it wired, but i took it back apart because i didn't like the way it looked. it was too messy looking....not clean enough at all. it interfered with the lines of the bike. should have these 2 things done today and we'll try to get it fired up and do the maiden voyage!
