wiring

somebody please help. I've read all I could on wiring but my problem is when I was installing the motor I had the cd ignition already mounted{dumb) but true. therefore when I let go of the motor the green wire was pulled from the engine, anyone know the origin of this wire. Right now I've connected it to the spool inside the casing housing the black and white wire no luck on my first ride thanks

Yep, 'thats a fine kettle of fish...' . no big deal. the green wire was pulled off the magneto. open up the magneto cover and put it back on.

once you take the magneto off engine, you should be able to see where it was soldered on and re-attatch it there
there are only two connections, it should be pretty easy to spot

magneto wiring

mine is blue, instead of green, but that matters not. you'll have to have the green wire soldered back on. be careful. pay attention to what wire is where before pulling it out. if you reinstall incorrectly (upside-down), you wont be going anyplace.
