This is an early Terratrike with drum brakes, an SRAM DualDrive 3×7 rear wheel.
Modified kingpins with machined pivots and 16mm bushings to correct OEM crappy hardware, its rock-solid at 30mph.
Added Big Apples 2.0, Terracycle chain idlers, lights bags horn blutooth stereo speaker.
Electrified with Bafang BBS02B 750W version. DPC18 display, 48V 17ah battery. Brake and shift sensors, headlight taillight. All wires sleeved, junction box under boom.
I did buy the programmer loaded software on laptop, loaded Karls Special Sauce into parameters, modified it a bit for longer gaps with shift sensor, slow starts, limited max current, some variation in the 10 tables of PAS assist, throttle response, so lower levels have less max throttle.
Very happy with how it turned out. Climbs out of steep valleys and runs with traffic, decent range with even my fat thumb and lots of speed and hills. Shift sensors work great with derailler, I still have to delay more when shifting the hub.
Wish I had a molded hardshell seat...and a subwoofer...
