Does it look to you like the casing is cracked underneath?
I don't think so, just looks like gaskets showing to me...In the meanwhile, It's not stopping you from starting, but your fuel filter is on upside down...The smaller end of it should be facing the gas tank as you will see a small round magnet inside the casing that is supposed to attract any fine metals emanating from the gas tank...It is useless when facing the carburetor.

The only thing I do not see in your pics is the position of the fuel tank petcock to ascertain whether it is truly turned on or off.

This is off and I'm a dumb ass and put the carb back together wrong. When I turn the gas on gas is pouring out the little hole next to the intake. I have to fix that
