would a two stroke run on straight WD-40?

I see everyone is disputing that the wd-40 wouldn't lubricate the engine correctly but I fail to see where he said he wouldn't use oil. I see that he mentions straight wd-40 and in a 50-50 mix but not that he wouldn't add standard stroke oil.
Does he simply mean that he's curious to if it will run on the stuff instead of normal gas? Probably not, maybe in a mix it might, but it probably runs more like crap than not. If I don't have the normal stuff I would use wd to check for an air leak, seems to bog down and even choke out if near the carb. Could be the co2 propellant though messing with the oxygen level.
