I went back to NNT Carbs but in this cold weather there so damn hard to start.
I half to full choke pedal 50 yards stop it rechoke it pedal 50 yards stop turn the choke off re pedal nurse the the throttle 100 yards.
Would synthetic cure the problem look at a full synthetic 2 stroke quart they only ask $20.00 for it.

It's not the oil bruh. 20 bucks a quart is outrageous. Are you running 32:1? Only benefit to running better oil is so you can run 50:1 or 100:1. You can run straight 30 weight 4 cycle oil at 16:1 if that's all you have and the zombies are closing in.

Sounds like it could be an air leak somewhere. I can start mine with just a short run inside my garage. I can actually stand to the side and lift up the back wheel by holding the seat with my right hand. pedal the left pedal with my right foot and pop the clutch with my left hand and start without moving.

you got an air leak or a clogged jet or filter. my bikes love the cold. fire up first time usually, unless they been sitting for a while. then it's just a few taps of the tickler and boom. check your plug while you are at it. i run lucas oil in winter, and lucas and blendzall 455 mix of my own ( 1 ounce castor and 1.5 ounce to 2 ounces lucas, depnds on if im street ridding or trail riding on how much lucas). reason i add a bit of castor in summer is because i like to run long and hard, over 50 miles at a time 3/4 throttle. tht blendzall is amazing stuff. just gotta clean the piston now and then an its all good.

It ran better before I switch to the more expensive racing carb then it gave me problems flooding I'd tap the carb free the float but still kept flooding so I put the old NT carb back on notice I had a 4 MPH drop in speed, take off is still great if it's hot went back to factory settings number 2 1/2 on the slide needle.

nt carb is a great carb. only down side is the small throat when building modded machines. just not enough air flow after 8 to 9k rpms. they work really well for lower rpm bikes though. i have a 5 speed running an nt carb and it will do 51.8mph rapped out. while they aren't as fuel efficient as the dellorto carbs, but thts because the way they deliver fuel.

Can't believe you do 51 MPH and it's a NT carb did you port it where did you buy you motor at and is a 49cc or 66cc?

there are some youtube videos tht will teach you how to drill out the carb for more flow. you have to change the slide though. it's not to hard to find a slide if you know some one with small dirt bikes laying around in heaps and piles on their land. or you check on ebay. i reccomend getting the slide first, then drilling, so you dont go bigger than the new slide can handle. dellerto carbs are easy to get parts for if you plan on drilling them, but reall no sense on those. they make such a good spread of sizes your sure to find one with the proper cfm rating for what you are building.
