Would this kit be a good option???

i have two electrics and one gas engine,

while the electrics are fun i dont take them on long rides, just haul the kids around to the local park and cruise the neighborhood, one is a front wheel hub, the other is a direct chain assist.

The problems with the electric is that when you have to use sla batteries they are heavy and on the rackmount the backend is real heavy, once your up to speed you dont even notice but when the juice runs out you can feel the extra weight you are pulling along.

I use my engine to commute 20 miles 3 times a week and i feel confident using it because i know the engine will hold up and if you buy one of the better quality kits, you will have many happy years puttering around.

by the way, yes they are real fun i use every excuse in the book to cruise around on the bikes and if i ever feel like pedalling again, well i can do that too.

one of the electrics,
