WWII Military Motorized Bikes? Anyone???

I'm still kicking myself...

My friend Garry had a Simplex Servi-Cycle, and recently sold it. I didn't have the money at the time (as he offered it to me first), and ultimately the Red Robin restaurant chain bought it. It now sits as a centerpiece in one of their restaurants in Allentown, PA. I should have taken out a home equity loan to buy it, darn it! Here's a pic of it (with Garry) at a WWII event. He was portraying a Civil Defense Auxiliary Policemen, and the Simplex was part of his impression:

Thats too bad you didn't get it, I always hate to see a rideable or driveable machine end up on a shelf.
