help, i think my crank just broke. set the bike up with fresh oil and gas. went 1/2 block down the way. and crash noise. sounded like breaking a milling machine bit across a parts fixture. snnnnaaaaaaappp! clunk, no power, whole bike lunged forward. scared the **** out of me. then second thought was ohhh nnnooooo! any idea`s on possible problem or parts for sale for cheap? dont tell me i know, take it apart and see what broke... right? right! maaannnnn!

Did the chain slap and wedge itself between the small sprocket? look at the small sprocket on the engine (under/inside the sprocket cover) Did the chain bunch up and get stuck in there?

no, it is still free to move. no jam. pulled clutch cover. checked the clutch and spun the tire. the clutch face is on a wobble now. i think i broke the shaft. will check more out in the morning. need clutch tool. kit did`nt come with one.

found the problem. bearing for piston exploded. bearings stuck between piston and cylinder wall. grooved out cycle wall and piston head.
